This workshop offers a complete guide on how to manage cookies and proprietary data in compliance with privacy regulations. Participants will learn how to personalize experiences, segment audiences and optimize outbound sales campaigns. In addition, the use of Google Consent Mode 2 will be explored, which adjusts the behavior of Google tags based on user consent, ensuring data collection is legal and effective.

Introduction

We will teach you how to handle user data ethically and in compliance with the new legislation. What you can and cannot do. You will also learn techniques to integrate and analyze data and get the most out of it, as well as how to enrich your sales data to obtain more complete and accurate information. In addition, you will learn strategies for outbound sales campaigns, using your own data to find and contact prospects more effectively, improving customer relationships and increasing conversions.

Legal and Privacy Considerations

  • Transparency and Consent: Make sure users clearly understand what data is being collected and what it will be used for.

First-Party Data

  • What it is: Data collected directly by the website owner, such as site behavioral data, email logs, and customer surveys.

Universal Identifiers (Universal IDs)

  • What it is: Common identifiers that can be used by different parties to track users anonymously without using third-party cookies.

Google Privacy Sandbox

  • What: Google initiative that proposes new APIs to enable targeting without revealing users’ identities.

Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) or Custom Data Platforms

  • What it is: Systems that collect and unify customer data from various sources into a single platform.

Contextual Advertising

  • What it is: Advertising based on the content of the website or page a user is viewing rather than based on the user’s past behavior.
