Your safety comes first!
Pipedrive understands perfectly well the value of all the data that your CRM may contain, from prospects to customers that you must follow up on time, so it seeks to provide administrators with the ability to know the exact moment when someone on your team accesses the account data quickly and efficiently so that there are never unexpected privacy breaches.
In Pipedrive’s Security Center you have the comprehensive tool that allows you to keep a close eye on your company’s data and security in a completely visual and very simple dashboard, available for Professional and Corporate Plan Administrator users.
Pipedrive Security Center
Yes! Pipedrive’s Security Center allows you to monitor and manage all of your company’s security from one place and includes a number of very useful features that contribute to your security:
- Safety board. In this space you have the role of “watcher”. You can monitor how, where, when and who accesses your account in real time. This way, in case of any suspicious action or user, you will be able to react immediately.
- User and device access logs. You will be notified of the times and locations of all devices that have been logged on in the last 60 days. This allows you to know both which devices you have approved and to protect yourself from devices that are not secure for your company by forcibly logging out from wherever you are.
- Rules and alerts. Establish customized security regulations that allow you to stop security breaches and/or data leaks at any time, even before they happen.
- Security management tips. We are here to help you! Pipedrive gives you guidance on vulnerability protection, user behavior and how to deal with security alerts.
- E-mail notifications. If you are not on the dashboard all the time, that’s OK! You can set up email notifications when there is suspicious activity on your account. This way, you will have timely information about what is happening: who, when and how they are accessing without being on your dashboard at all times.
- Monthly updates. Yes, there are also reports on the security of your account. You will receive a monthly report with an overview of your account security so you can act on what happened that month.
Safety panel
The Security Dashboard feature gives you full access to all actions and even users who have logged into your Pipedrive business account allowing for greater control and transparency. In this dashboard you can also define guidelines and improve all the security settings of your account.
This dashboard is visible by default only to administrator users, although they can give access to other users for greater control. Some features of the Security Dashboard are only available in the Corporate plan.
It is very easy to use!
To view the Security Dashboard go to Settings > Security Center >Dashboard.
When you access your dashboard you will find three columns with different data. This information goes according to the different accesses to your account and you can drill down by hovering your mouse over the information you want to see.
The three columns of data that you will find in your Security Dashboard include:
1. Right now
- Connected users. You will be able to find the users who are currently connected to your account, their locations, offline users and disconnection times.
- Unique locations. You will find the number of devices that have registered to your account sorted by location and in descending order.
2. Last 7 days
- New devices. It tells you which new devices and the time they logged in to your account in the last 7 days.
- New locations. It lists the new locations where the devices logged in during the last 7 days with their respective times.
- Security events. Indicates the number and type of security events related to and performed by users of your account.
- Force logout. Indicates how many times users have clicked Logout or Logout on all devices.
3. Safety assessment
In this section you can find a report created by Pipedrive that shows you some of the possible vulnerabilities in your account according to the current access and user settings.
The classification of these vulnerabilities is delimited as: high risk, low risk or no problem.
