Prospects

With the Lead Inbox, you have the possibility to store those leads that you already have in your sights and that have been approved by your marketing team but are not yet progressing through the funnel and do not have any active deals.

These leads already in your Inbox can be qualified by you and will be ready to be tracked as a deal in the Pipedrive funnel, just click on “Convert to deal”.

When converting them to deals you have the option to define more data such as the funnel in which it should go, the visibility and the value of the funnel.

To add leads from a list or from a spreadsheet that you save on your computer you must click on “Add Lead” or via Leadbooster. In this step you have to include at least two fields: the title of the prospect and the name of the contact or organization.

If you have the Leadbooster add-on in your account, you can create a playbook in whichthe prospects that contact you through the Chatbot will be saved.

For the playbook to generate leads and not deals you must select “Leads” in the “Save location” field when setting up your playbook.

In addition to these forms, you can also use features such as Prospector, Web Forms or Web Visitors to add prospects to your Lead Inbox quickly and easily.

Deals

What is a deal? For Pipedrive, a deal is a transaction that you seek to generate or obtain from one of your prospects. These are processed in the different stages of your sales funnel and end when they are closed or eliminated, these processes are known as won or lost deals .

Within each deal you can find a lot of information about it and this can be tracked because with Pipedrive you have the ability to record each and every action taken with this prospect, from annotations to emails sent, therefore a deal monitors all movements during your sales process and automatically relates to the People or Companies you have defined as part of the deal. You can find the progress of the deal in the “Progress in your account” section .

Contacts

The contacts can be divided into 2:

Individuals

They are defined as “specific customers” with whom you will conduct negotiations and generate the deal in Pipedrive.
These people may or may not be linked to a company, may have multiple open deals and can be imported from CSV, XLS files or from another CRM.
To review the data of these contacts you must access the person’s “Details list”.

2. Organizations

They are defined as the companies your contact persons work for.
There can be multiple deals per company and they can be imported from CSV, XLS files or from another CRM
Company related people, notes and actions linked to them or their deals are accessible from the “Details View”.

They are all the acts you perform in the contact with your customer from their inclusion in the sales funnel until the closing of the deal, no matter if it is a call, a touchdown or an email.

  • Create new contacts. If the people who are contacting you are not yet in your Pipedrive database, the email will create a new “Persona” and link everything related to it in the present and future.
  • It documents the mail threads. Pipedrive will document all responses from your contacts in your inbox by generating email threads.
  • Attachments always visible. Your attachments will be visible from any device on which your account is activated and associated with your email, and will be available in the “Files” tab on the details page.
