Pipedrive actions allow you to definewhich are the key activities that you must carry out with your customers, no matter if it is a call, meeting, task or email, always with the possibility of setting customized actions according to your needs and of course, to schedule them so that you never forget them.
Add new actions simply from different Pipedrive angles
1. In your deals from funnel view.
Click on the deal action icon to schedule actions in one click.
2. From your deals or contacts in the details view
Click on the “Action” tab and you will be able to create actions directly on the deals or contacts you require.
3. In the Prospect Mailbox
Select the desired prospect and click on “Action” at the top of the prospect details view.
4. From the Calendar view
It is the easiest way to add an action since from here you can choose the exact moment to perform the action or click directly on the “Action” tab.
5. In the Contacts tab, on the schedule
Click on the plus and select “action”.
Program actions in a couple of steps
Selecting this option displays your daily agenda on the right side of the screen and on the left loop you can find all the necessary elements to program your action. Among these data you can find:
- Title of the action.
- Type of action: default or customized.
- Time, date and duration.
- Availability. This is of vital importance since here your clients will be able to see your availability by means of the notes “busy” or “available”.
- Notes. These are private and can only be viewed by you.
- Guests.
- Location.
- Description. You can add additional details of the action, it is different from the note as this one is public and the notes are not.
Did you finish an action? Finish it!
If the actions you have scheduled have already been performed you can mark them as completed either in the action list directly, the deal details page, the contact schedule view or in the calendar view where all your activities are displayed.
You can find several columns in the section of each action for completeness:
- Completion box
- Title of the action
- Date
- Date marked as completed. It is updated at the end of the action.
- Deadline. Displays the original schedule date and time.
