How do the Campaigns work?
First things first, your customers’ subscription
Before you begin, it is vitally important to be aware of email compliance laws. Your customers first need to send you their data or subscribe to a specific form to receive your emails.

In order for your customers to receive your campaigns successfully they must have the subscribed status in the marketing status field, as we said before your customer must have given you their data by some means and this is then your green flag for you to send them emails.

In the marketing section you can view and update contact details, and you can do it directly in your dashboard manually or by importing contacts either from a document or directly from your web form.
How to do it? In the Edit field block you will find the drop-down menu from which you should select Marketing status and the consent statement will be filled in automatically.
We already have the permissions! Now, your account
For legal reasons, the first step is to define the physical address of your company, which can come directly from the address in your billing information or you can make a manual modification.

Something you should not forget is to confirm the name and email address of the sender, that is, how you want your customers to receive you, this is so that they know from where the emails are being sent. Configuring it this way, in this email you will also be able to receive emails derived from the campaign.

How to do it? You can configure your account and edit the data by going to the Campaigns / Campaigns section and then go to the Settings section.

- Choose a template. Select your campaign design from a selection of pre-designed templates or create one from scratch.
- HTML upload. If you want to personally create your campaign design you can use HTML, or copy and paste your existing email from the tool you are using.

You are ready to send your first campaign! Once you have created the content, defined the template and provided the data, it’s time to send your email campaign.
Last but not least… measure, measure, measure!
What remains once your campaign has been sent is vital: monitoring its performance, because this is what will provide you with very clear insights on what your audience wants, the clicks made in each section, and much more data that will allow you to improve your campaigns and offer just what your customers want.
In the Participation / Engagement section you can define the elements you want to track:
- Engagement: Opens, clicks and opens, click and click-through rates on links
- Delivery: Delivery success (successful delivery, bounces, unsubscribe, reported as spam)
- Performance over time: Performance over time per hour per day.
- Link performance: How much interest the links embedded in the emails captured.
- Best performance by location: How your mailings performed by country
